Delete your account

In the app: straight away

1. Open Bonding Tunes and go to Settings.
2. Tap Delete my data.
3. Confirm with Delete everything.

Your favourites, your saved sessions and your account are deleted at once, and the app starts again empty. Removing the app from your phone on its own does not delete your account.

Deleting your account does not cancel a Bonding Tunes+ subscription. Cancel it in your Apple ID’s subscription settings, or in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions.

By email: without the app

Email hello@smartidtechnologies.com with the subject “Delete my Bonding Tunes account”, and include one of these so we can find your account:

• your User ID, from Settings → App Details → User ID (tap it to copy), or
• the email address you used with Sign in with Apple.

Email a deletion request

We may ask you to confirm the request comes from you. We delete your data within one month and tell you when it’s done. By email we can also delete what the in-app button doesn’t reach: the analytics data linked to your account ID, and your customer record at our subscription provider.

If you never signed in with Apple and no longer have the app, your account isn’t linked to a name, email address or phone number, so we may not be able to tell which data is yours. Write to us anyway and we’ll help where we can.

Delete some data, keep your account

• A liked song. On the home screen, open Your songs and evenings, go to Likes, and tap the heart on the song.
• Usage statistics. Switch off Settings → Privacy → Share usage statistics. Collection stops and the analytics identifiers on your phone are reset. To also delete what was collected before, email us.
• A saved evening, or anything else. Email us with your User ID and tell us what you would like deleted. We do it within one month and let you know.

What is deleted

• Your account, and the email address from Sign in with Apple if you used it
• Your favourites and your saved sessions
• By email request: the analytics data linked to your account ID, and your subscription customer record

What is kept

• Transaction records for 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires.
• Question and song statistics, which contain no names and no account IDs.
• Sessions saved by other players, which belong to their libraries.

Rooms are already deleted when an evening ends, and after 12 hours at the latest. Settings stored on your phone go when you remove the app. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
